First Peter 5:10 reads, “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” This week, we’ve considered the promises contained within this verse. Let’s end this brief series with a few final considerations.
First, remember that suffering is temporary, but God offers eternal glory. Second, God is a God of grace. He sees your pain and cares about your affliction, and He wants to strengthen and restore you. He wants you to be with Him forever. Don’t let suffering blind you to God’s love or cause you to forsake the God of all grace. Lastly, as powerful as the enemy is, as intense as suffering can be, the faithful have none other than God Almighty as their advocate and source of strength. With those reminders, let us faithfully endure the pains of this world and serve and praise our God every day!
